CBSE dismisses rumours of Class 10, 12 board results being announced on May 2

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) clarified that Class 10 and 12 board results will not be released tomorrow (May 2) contrary to rumours spreading on social media and some media reports.

According to a local media report, a senior CBSE official said no official announcement has been made regarding the declaration of results tomorrow.

Students and parents have been urged to check official sources for updates and to avoid spreading information. Latest updates on the results will be released on: cbse.gov.in, cbseresults.nic.in, and results.cbse.nic.in.

In the past years, results for CBSE board exams have usually been announced around the second week of May. In 2024, results were released on May 13.

Results for both Class 10 and 12 are usually released on the same day. As per reports, over 4,400,000 students appeared for the CBSE exams this year — approximately 2,412,000 for Class 10 and 1,788,000 for Class 12.
