CBSE has changed the assessment and evaluation pattern for classes 10 and 12 from the academic year 2024-25

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) announced Grade 10 results, hours after Class 12 scores were out on Tuesday.
Students can check for results on: cbse.gov.in, cbseresults.nic.in, and results.cbse.nic.in.
Grade 10 students recorded a pass rate of 93.6 per cent, an increase of 0.06 per cent since last year. Similar to the Grade 12 results, girls outshined boys by over 2.37 percentage points; 95 per cent girls passed the exam, according to Indian news agency.
CBSE has changed the assessment and evaluation pattern for classes 10 and 12 from the academic year 2024-25, with more weightage given to competency-focused questions in the theory examination.

As per reports, over 4,400,000 students appeared for the CBSE exams this year — approximately 2,412,000 for Class 10 and 1,788,000 for Class 12.
According to a board release, the overall pass percentage is 88.39 per cent, marginally up from last year.
According to exam controller Sanyam Bhardwaj, girls outperformed boys by over 5 percentage points in CBSE class 12 board exams, Indian media reports said.
