Bangladesh, US sign reciprocal tariff agreement, Yunus says

Bangladesh and the United States signed a reciprocal tariff agreement on Monday, with Washington further reducing its tariff rate to 19 per cent, Bangladesh Chief Adviser Muhammad Yunus said on X.
"In addition, the US committed to establishing a mechanism for certain textile and apparel goods from Bangladesh using US produced cotton and man-made fiber to receive zero reciprocal tariff in US market," Yunus said.
