An earthquake of magnitude 5.4 struck Bangladesh on Friday, the European Mediterranean Seismological Centre (EMSC) said.
The quake was at a depth of 35 km (21.75 miles), EMSC said.
A Reuters witness in the Asian country said that tremors were felt in the Bangladeshi capital, Dhaka. No further information were immediately available.
