Andhra Pradesh chief minister and TDP president N Chandrababu Naidu has chalked out a 15-year action programme for the party and the government for the all round development of the state and to take the party closer to the masses.

Addressing the extended state committee meeting in Vijayawada, the party president said “We are preparing action plans for 2019, 2022 and 2029. We will face three elections and witness three finance panels by 2029. All our actions and deeds should be aimed at developing the state and strengthening the party.”

Exhorting party leaders and workers to be in constant touch with the people, he said they should explain to them the various schemes being taken up by the government besides ensuring that the benefits of welfare and developmental programs reached all the actual beneficiaries.

To achieve this, Naidu said the party’s elected representatives should stay in villages for at least six working days every month to understand the realities at the grassroots level and to ensure on the spot redressal of grievances.
