New Delhi: After featuring as a progeric child in “Paa” and a constipation patient in “Piku”, veteran megastar Amitabh Bachchan is ready to delight and surprise his fans with his superhero avatar via a TV series.
The 72-year-old has joined hands with Graphic India, Disney to create an animated series “Astra Force” for the small screen, said a source.
Amitabh, along with Graphic India CEO and co-founder Sharad Devarajan, joined forces to create the new superhero, which is likely to look like the thespian himself.
The show, which will be launched on Disney Channel in India, promises to be funny, fast-paced and full of action, adventure, laughter and thrills.
On the small screen, Amitabh has earlier made a mark as a quizmaster on “Kaun Banega Crorepati” and he has even explored the fiction genre of the television world with “Yudh”. Now it remains to be seen how his animated avatar—a first time attempt by him—turns out to be.
