Video: Students thrown around in US school bus crash

Highway patrol officials released the video on Monday.

A video of a US school bus crash has gone viral online. The bus was carrying 25 students.
According to a release issued by the State police in Ohio, the frightening video shows the inside of a school bus as it crashed - with students being thrown around.
The accident took place last December. The Ohio State Highway Patrol released the video on Monday.
Highway officials said that a car hit the bus after the former failed to stop at a red light in Perry County.
A camera inside the bus shows students flying around before getting pinned inside the vehicle, screaming for help.

The bus driver had told the students to climb out through the windows and emergency exit.
Eight of the 25 students and the bus driver were taken to the hospital with injuries.
The car driver sustained serious injuries and was taken to a hospital. He had been driving with a suspended license.
