Rescue operation was facing delay due to rough terrain while rescue teams haven’t reached Kitaar, Jitrad, Kesrad and several other villages of Tharparkar, Dunya News reported.
According to statistics, around 300 people were undergoing treatment in local hospitals of the district. The health situation was getting better in some areas of Tharparkar while a decline in migration of people was also reported due to the ongoing relief operation.
The Sindh government had earlier removed its minister of relief and revenue Makhdoom Jamiluz Zaman, minister for livestock & fisheries Jam Khan Shoro and Relief Commissioner Lala Fazalur Rehman over their inability to take relief measures in Tharparkar. — Online
