Four injured individuals were hospitalised and found to be in critical condition

Two Emiratis were killed on Friday, August 8, after their tour bus fell into a river bed in Turkey, according to Turkish news agency IHA.
The tragic incident took place in a district of Trabzon, where a vehicle carrying six people plunged into a stream bed, which included five Emirati tourists.
Among those who passed away were 18-year-old Mariam Muhammad Ahmad Ibrahim and her 32-year-old brother, Abdulmajid Muhammad Ahmad Ibrahim.

Meanwhile, four others survived the accident and sustained injuries, which included 15-year-old Ibrahim Muhammad Ahmad Ibrahim, 53-year-old Samira Muhammad Abdurrahman, 60-year-old Muhammad Ahmad Ibrahim and the driver of the vehicle, 39-year-old Abdulkadir Boğoçlu.

The accident happened after the driver failed to navigate a turn and veered off the road, leading the Mercedes Vito minibus to fall into the stream bed located in Turkey's Balık Gölü area of the Demirkapı Plateau.

Passing by tourists and locals who spotted the overturned vehicle immediately made a call to the emergency hotline and medical teams were dispatched to the scene. The injured, who were trapped inside the vehicle, were rescued after long efforts.
A video of the fallen bus shows people around it, attempting to help those inside.
The video, carried by Turkish News Agency IHA, shows a man yelling from the road in Arabic, "call the UAE embassy.. Emiratis.. bring a helicopter," implying that those in the vehicle are UAE citizens.

Initial findings indicated that two people had lost their lives while four others were injured. A medical helicopter was requested to transport the injured, and an investigation into the accident is ongoing.
