14 killed in separate accidents in Pakistan

Nine people including women and children of a family died in a road mishap in Baldia Town area of Karachi early on Monday morning.

At least 14 people, including women and children, were killed in two separate accidents in the country on Monday night.

Nine people including women and children of a family died in a road mishap in Baldia Town area of Karachi early on Monday morning. Police said a dumber hit the vehicle carrying the family.

According to reports, six people died on the spot while three others succumbed to their injuries on the way to hospital after the collision between a van and dumper truck at Hum River Road. The dead included two children and three women.

Meanwhile, in Gukkar Mandi, near Gujranwala, five members of a family including parents and three children were killed when their house collapsed due to heavy rain.
