Dubai Summer Surprises has commenced across Dubai - and Mercato Shopping Mall on Jumeirah Beach Road has an array of activities, events and promotions in store during their six-week summer festival. One of the highlights will be a giant slide that descends from the first floor to the ground floor that is open to all ages (what fun!). The mall will also be hosting a variety of international circus shows, roaming performances and circus-themed interactive workshops where kids will learn fun tricks. Cook like an Italian
Want to learn how to cook Italian Venetian cuisine like a pro? All'onda restaurant will be holding a culinary masterclass on June 29 from 1-4pm. The masterclass will be hosted by head chef Ibraheem Musleh, and will give attendees the chance to discover the culinary ways of the Italians - whilst learning how to master some of their famous recipes and culinary techniques. Popular UAE radio host Gaggan Mudgal is all set to crack up audiences in his upcoming live performance called Radio Dekkh. The show that will describe situations faced by RJs in their everyday lives will take place on June 28 at Emirates Theatre, Emirates International School, Jumeirah, Dubai. Learning fun
This summer, let your children gain a hands-on experience about sustainable living at The Sustainable City Summer Camp. To be held from July 7 to August 29, the summer camp is filled with daily activities and is open to 4-10 year olds, who will bake brownies in a solar oven, design electric cars, create sculptures using recycled material, as well as their own model city.
