Let there be sparkle
Old Delhi's art and cultural heritage has inspired many jewellery designs. And now Art Karat brings The Haveli Jewellery Show to Dubai in order to offer a peek into those traditions. The collection includes a variety of designs, including a bridal range. The show takes place at Taj Dubai on November 23 and 24 (from 11 am to 8 pm). For more information, log on to www.artkarat.com.
An oral tribute
Ismat Chughtai's writings have been revisited and reimagined many times. And now Dastangoi performers Sunil Mehra and Askari Naqvi are all set to pay a tribute to the legendary Urdu writer's works through a Dastangoi performance. Dastangoi is an old form of oral storytelling. Mehra and Naqvi will perform at The Junction (Alserkal Avenue) on November 24 (show timings are 5 pm and 8 pm). Available on Platinumlist, tickets are priced at Dh150.
