Become a zookeeper for a day
Does your little one have a love for animals? Well, they can now get up close and personal with nature with The Green Planet Dubai's Zookeeper for the Day programme. It gives children aged 9-16 the opportunity to learn more about tropical wildlife, venture behind the scenes, visit the labs and take care of some incredible and endangered species - escorted by an expert team, of course. Mini zookeepers will also have the opportunity to talk with a biologist about future career options. The programme launches on October 5, and will run every Saturday from 8.30am to 12pm, priced at Dh950.

Bring on the LOLs
Get ready for an evening of laughter as stand-up comedians Rajneesh Kapoor and Gaurav Kapoor take to the stage on September 28 at Headlines Cafe, Ibis Hotel in Dubai World Trade Centre. While Rajneesh is well-known as the creator of comic strip This is Our Life, Gaurav is famous for his opening act for Russel Brand in his India Tour. Together, the two promise to dazzle.
