When time stands still
The third edition of Art Jameel Commissions is calling for proposals for digital projects that will create interactive experiences for virtual audiences.
Theme: Our concept of time has been challenged by technology and current circumstance, and even at times appeared to be cancelled, lost or frozen.
Open to: Artists from or based in the Middle East, North Africa and Turkey and those around the world (regardless of nationality) who have sustained and demonstrable links to, and a meaningful understanding of, the wider 'Middle East region'.

The seventh edition of the Van Cleef & Arpels Middle East Emergent Designer Prize in collaboration with Tashkeel is welcoming applications that take inspiration from the structural elements of flora.
Theme: Flora is defined as all plant life present in a particular region or time, generally naturally occurring native plants. Work on a design piece (jewellery and watch designs are not eligible).
Open to: Artists and designers living in UAE, Bahrain, Oman, Saudi Arabia and Kuwait.

The night edition of the Ras Al Khaimah Fine Arts Festival is looking forward to receiving works from the creative fraternity in four categories: Fine Art & Photography, Sculpture, Film, and Student.
Theme: Hope is the thing with feathers that perches in the soul, are the famous words of Emily Dickinson, and the inspiration for RAK's 2021 Festival. Hope. Through art, they ask you to explore where hope is found, how it is built, and how it is shared.
Open to: They are accepting entries from artists and directors of all ages and nationalities, regardless of their emirate or country of residence.
