The first time I heard of The Eloquent Elephant at the Taj Dubai, I was piqued no end by its name Now, I'm in love with its food. Which is why I've been itching to pay a visit ever since some new offerings were introduced earlier this month. The top item on my wish-list is the Rock Shrimp Tempura - bites of shrimp dipped in a light tempura batter and pan-fried. And served with chilli mayo. I've had various versions of it all around, but this one could take the cake!

Nightmare on my own street
Halloween is coming, and I have a Scream outfit stashed away somewhere, which I may don to scare the living daylights out of the kids when they come trick or treating. Other than that, I've also settled for this COOL skeleton dangler - since I have half a mind to throw a creepy Halloween party. Even if I don't, it'll be a fun thing to flash to white-livered friends on a weekend Fright Night when we're doing a movie marathon of scary movies. Yes, I'm a sadist!

Picture perfect!
How many times have you wished your face wouldn't shine so much when you're posing for that impromptu shot at the coffee shop (especially if the flash is on!) - which will soon be posted on social media? While you're trying to add up the numbers, Wet n Wild has come out with a 'photofocus' pressed powder that promises to give you a perfectly 'composed' photo, with a lovely matte effect. It uses a light-adjusting technology to ensure that whatever may be the occasion for a snap, you'll always be the best in show!

Charmed by Minnie
I'm a huge fan of Pandora bracelet charms and, over the years, have built up quite a collection. I usually go for delicate designs, floral pastiches or ethnic motifs. This one I am going for because it's irresistibly cutesy! Imagine wearing Minne Mouse on my wrist alongside the desert camel and the coffee cup!

I'm not skirting the issue
I have been on the lookout for a boho skirt. Just a regular one that boasts a nice neutral-ish colour (hint: can be mixed and matched with any top), that's long, flowy and comfy, one I can lounge around in or go to a party in, but would be somewhat form-fitted... and will look good day or night. Surely that's not asking for the moon, right? But believe me when I say I've been failing to snag one! So when I saw this piece, complete with a tassle-y sash, I muttered, "Bull's eye".
