Here is how to make the most of your smartphone - with apps!

Sure, our modern, high-tech phones can do everything from swap people's faces to turn into voice-controlled assistants. But you know what our phones can't do anymore? Stay active for more than a day without charge. You can argue that it's the way we use our phone that really counts, but let's face it, we all want to use our phones as much as possible, without having to worry about them dying. We also want to be able to put as much as possible into our phones without slowing them down. So, this week, we tell you how to make the most of your smartphone - with apps!
Clean Master
Every time you watch a video on Instagram or find a picture online, data is stored or cached onto your phone, just in case you want to view it all later. But this does take up space and if you want your phone to be in optimum condition, the best thing would be to clean it all up. Clean Master is a lifesaver because it deletes cached files that are larger than 10MB automatically. Battery Doctor
This free battery-saving app promises to extend your phone's battery life by 50 per cent. It does this by tracking down apps and settings that are draining the battery life, thus allowing you to make changes like adjusting your power-consumption settings. It also gives you smart charging tips and allows you to define power-saving profiles that you can schedule - so you can automatically save battery if you are asleep or at work.
1Tap Cleaner
Give your phone the ultimate cleanse with this handy little app. It has five specific cleaners. Its Cache Cleaner, History Cleaner and Call/Text Cleaner help you get more space by clearing cached files, data and search history, while the Default Cleaner and SD Cleaner help you clean up the default settings and the SD card respectively. It's a five-in-one solution in one app, and it automatically cleans your phone at specific intervals as well.
Watchdog Task Manager
Often, your phone gets a bit slow because certain large apps require more processing power or have bugs or other issues. The problem is that it's often hard to figure out which apps are causing a problem. Watchdog Task Manager monitors all the apps running in the background in your phone and alerts you if one of them starts to malfunction or eats up all your battery.
