Today's men are showing great enthusiasm to look good. Gone are the days of pestering a man to use sunscreen or wear moisturiser regularly. Most of my male clients show me their close-up pictures and seek advice on looking fresh and young. It's so refreshing to see that today's men are taking that initiative to look good.

Skincare: Include Vitamin C serums and sunscreen regularly and don't underestimate the power of retinol if you are above the age of 35. Placenta and Hyaluronic serums are glorious hits with my clients who are above 45 years of age, as it visibly decreases the signs of aging.

Attire: Don't be afraid to include colours in your attire. You don't have to stick to black, white and blue. Add a pop of colour with a pocket square or a tie. Use warm colours like sunflower, burnt orange or olive on your dress down days and smart casuals. Bright loafers are great to lift an overall look.
Distressing = Good grooming: Go for your manicure and pedicure, get a nice shoulder massage or a facial. The pressure point massage not only relaxes you, but also gives you a rejuvenated and youthful glow because of the distressing.

Accessories: Invest in the right accessories. For business travellers, it's important to get a man bag, where you can put all your valuables like passport, credit cards and glasses. Be comfortable using one, it's not feminine, it's efficient and easy when you are out and about for dinners and can't put everything in your jacket pocket.
Also, glasses should be harmonious to your face, don't buy sunglasses and spectacles online without trying them out. Don't be hell-bent on luxury brands when it comes to sunglasses, the key is to look for one that suits your face.

Suits & shoes: Navy, black, charcoal grey suit go with black belts and Oxford shoes. Blue, light grey and dark brown should be paired with dark brown belts and Oxford shoes. Avoid two-tone shoes for a formal environment.

Socks: Avoid white socks, it's only for playing sports. Opt for a pair that is two shades darker than your trousers and not lighter. For the business environment, avoid wearing the invisible socks as it shows the ankle, it's okay for smart casual days, not with business formals.
