What are you reading now?
I am currently reading Tiger Fire: 500 Years of the Tiger in India by Valmik Thapar. My interest in these majestic animals - and the genre of books based on them - developed after a visit to the Satpura Tiger Reserve in Madhya Pradesh, India. My wife, Cynthia, and two lovely friends, Karn and Rajika (who we actually befriended during our MP trip), played a pivotal role in igniting this passion in me. This interest continues with our next visit to Jim Corbett National Park - the oldest national park in India and home to the rare Royal Bengal Tiger.

A book that changed your life?
SRK - 25 Years of a Life. I have always admired Bollywood actor Shah Rukh Khan for the way he has earned the respect and love of millions of people around the world while also having a wonderful family life. The insights into his life and struggles described in this biography have been inspiring and life-changing for this
ardent admirer.
A memorable literary character, according to you?
Rhett Butler from Gone with the Wind. The thing I loved about the character is that even though he is very fierce and arrogant towards social norms, deep inside he is a charming, loving person.

Name the books you love revisiting from time to time.
A Thousand Splendid Suns by Khaled Hosseini. It is story of love, hate and disappointment between parents and children.
Your favourite quote?
"Throw me to the wolves and I will return leading the pack". This quote is actually by an unknown person but I find it inspiring and powerful all the same.
