I'm 21 years old and recently started getting dry and dark spots on my face. Due to winter, my lips also get chapped. Can you suggest some easy and natural home remedies?

Take a piece of ripe papaya, and apply it to your face; rinse after an hour. Your skin will be softened and the spots will disappear gradually if done everyday. For your lips: add a drop of milk to a drop of honey, and massage on lips; leave for a few minutes and scrub off. This will help your lips get smooth. Do this every day for best results.
I'm 16 years old; I have a naturally fair complexion but it has gotten a bit dark due to sun exposure. Could you please suggest a remedy to lighten my complexion, which doesn't involve using any oil as my skin is already quite oily? Also, my face has scars left by pimples - very evident on my chin and cheeks. My cheeks have open pores. And there are a lot of blackheads on my nose. Could you please suggest natural remedies for all my issues?

Take 1 tablespoon of ripe strawberry pulp; add 1 teaspoon honey, and baking soda and corn flour in equal proportion to make a creamy paste. Apply a thick layer of this on your face, and rinse off after one hour with cold water. Do this every day for super results.

I am 18, and have been getting a lot of pimples around my jawline and chin recently, and I have acne scars and pits around my cheeks. Also, I have a lot of blackheads on my nose; I tried to get rid of them with your baking soda remedy - but to no avail. Is there an effective remedy that can help me with this?

You need a remedy to nip the pimples in the bud, shrink pores, reduce infection and clear marks. Take 1 tablespoon of egg white and beat well; add 1 teaspoon each of lemon juice, cinnamon powder and rice powder, and mix. Apply this mask on your face. Let it dry, and then gently scrub and rinse with cold water. Done every day, your skin will start improving for sure. Avoid spicy and oily foods, and add at least 2 litres of water to your daily diet.
My hair seems to be falling out a lot of late. I can't think of anything that's changed in my diet or routine, but now when I run my hands through my hair, I always end up with multiple strands in hand. Is this a problem of weak roots? Or something else? Please help. I'm very concerned.

Sudden hair fall may be due to certain nutrients missing in your diet or a certain amount of stress you are carrying unknowingly. Get a blood test done; the doc may prescribe some extra vitamins if required. A scalp massage with your fingertips will ease the stress and activate blood circulation. Follow with a steam treatment; this helps to unclog the pores; you may follow with another massage with warm coconut or almond or black seed oil to feed the scalp with nourishment. After a couple of weeks of doing this, the hair fall will stop and hair quality will improve. Doing this treatment thrice a week will be best.

I have acne on my cheeks and scalp, and they leave black patches sometimes. I want to brighten my skin tone and get rid of the acne at the same time. Can you suggest some remedy?

Aloe vera is best to clear the infection on the skin and scalp. Take 1 tablespoon of aloe vera gel, beat well, add a few drops of tea tree oil and lemon juice, and rub this pack on scalp and face. Leave on overnight for best results, or for at least two hours before shampooing. Do this every alternate day. Use a mild shampoo and avoid using conditioner while doing this treatment.
