What book(s) are you reading?
The Alchemist by Paulo Coelho. Centred around a young boy from southern Spain, who embarks on a journey to find his treasure in Egypt - and learns the most crucial lessons about the world along the way. I love its themes of determination and self-discovery.
A book that changed your life?
I found Who Moved My Cheese? by Ken Blanchard and Spencer Johnson really inspiring. It motivated me to sit up and be willing to work as hard as I can to chase my dreams and find my "cheese".

Most memorable literary character?
Hazel Grace Lancaster from The Fault in Our Stars by John Green. Hazel is a brave, strong, selfless 16-year-old who has to live with cancer, knowing she has but a few years left. Yet, she does not allow this to define her. She is open to love, adventures and to living the best life possible.
A book quote that really stood out.
"A nation should not be judged by how it treats its highest citizens, but its lowest ones." The quote comes from Nelson Mandela's Long Walk to Freedom. It's very powerful to me, as I interpret it as going beyond a nation, right down to how humans treat each other - even in a company, where I believe one should be able to greet a cleaner the same way he/she would greet the CEO.
A book you believe is underrated.
Born a Crime by Trevoh Noah is such a relatable book for me. Growing up in a small town without many opportunities or much exposure to the world, I had big, almost unimaginable dreams that I always believed I would realise, regardless of my circumstances. In his book, Trevor Noah talks about the trials he faced as a child growing up in apartheid South Africa - and, today, he heads one of the biggest shows in America. The most important lesson for me, from the book, is to never give up on your dreams, regardless of your circumstances and background.
