I am 16, and just love your natural solutions. I have recently developed a few problems:
1) My hair used to be thick but now, thanks to hair fall and dandruff, it's become really thin.
2) I have some dead nits in my hair, which are refusing to get dislodged.
3) My face is really oily and I have blackheads on my nose and chin. I also have acne on my cheeks and forehead.Could you please suggest some easy remedies?

1) Your hair is falling because of dandruff. Brush your hair twice a day: this will help lift the dandruff and improve blood circulation. Rinse your brush regularly to keep dandruff off. Take 2 tablespoons of aloe vera gel, and add 9 drops of tea tree oil; massage this into scalp, and shampoo after 1 hour. Your hair will stop falling and its quality will improve.
2) After massaging scalp and hair with aloe gel + tea tree oil, if you brush your hair just before shampooing, the dry aloe will trap the nits, getting rid of them.
3) Mix tomato juice with oats powder, and apply this mask on your face. When it dries, scrub off; this will reduce blackheads and skin oiliness. Do this daily.
I have been using castor oil and coconut oil every week for the past year as a hair treatment. However, I am recently noticing severe hair fall. How can I stop my fair from falling? I am very concerned because my hair is already quite thin! Also, I have naturally curly hair; however, after washing it, the curls at the top of my head disappear and become frizzy. What can I do to stop this? How can I make my curls softer and shinier?

Using coconut oil + castor oil is an excellent hair treatment. It reduces frizziness too, and makes your hair softer and shinier. Your hair fall may be due to stress or poor nutrition - including poor water intake. If all is okay, check with your doctor: maybe you have a hormonal imbalance.
I am an 18-year-old girl. I used to have severe acne and had to see a doctor, who prescribed a cream. My acne has reduced, but has left a lot of scars that are red in colour. At times, I still get pimples/acne here and there. When I go out in the sun, a few pimples pop out as well and the sides of my face start itching. I had tried to apply aloe vera gel, but it dried up my skin.
Also, my brother is 23 years old, and has been suffering from a lot of hair fall due to which you can see a bald patch on the back of his head. He has been applying onion and ginger juice for the past one year but it hasn't really been effective. Can you please help us with our problems - and also suggest a good moisturiser that I can apply on my face daily?

Mix 1 tablespoon oats powder with some tomato purée and a little honey; apply on your face. When dry, rinse with cold water. Do this daily. For sensitive skin, drink at least 12 glasses of water daily. Moisten your skin with water before applying a moisturiser.
For your brother's bald patch: get him to first massage his hair with aloe vera gel as it is a good cleanser. Then, make a paste of 1 tablespoon fenugreek seeds (soaked overnight); add a little yoghurt and a little honey; apply this mix on the bald patch, and leave overnight. He should do this every day.
If in one month you see no results, please check with your doctor
