My daughter is 12 and has hair on her upper lip. She is too embarrassed about it because her friends keep making fun of her. Do you have a solution?
- Jesni
Turmeric, mixed with rice powder, is an excellent scrub to break light, soft hair from the face. Take 1 teaspoon honey, half teaspoon rose water, add ¼ teaspoon turmeric powder, ¼ teaspoon baking powder and enough rice powder. Make a mask and apply on the upper lip. When dry, gently scrub against hair growth. Do this twice a week, leaving a three-day gap in between. Be gentle when scrubbing in order to avoid scars.
My chin is very rough due to threading. What can I do to make it smooth again?
- Monisha
Apply a mask of warm oats on the chin. When it dries, scrub it off with wet fingers. Do this every alternate day to get soft and smooth skin.
I am 32 years old. My hair fall has gotten bad in the last few weeks. If I just run my hand through my hair, several long strands get pulled out. Looks like I'm going to go bald soon. Please help.

Onion is rich in sulfur that helps clear dandruff and works as an anti-bacterial treatment for scalp. Apply onion juice on scalp and leave it on for an hour. Wash with a mild shampoo. Do this thrice a week to arrest hair fall.
Someone told me that applying coconut oil on hair is not effective enough unless you heat it first. Is there any truth in that claim?
- Janet
Warm oil massaged into the scalp is beneficial because heat helps stimulate pores and nutrients from the oil are fed into the roots. Continue warm coconut oil massage thrice a week, as this is sure to improve hair quality.
