The number one item on your wish list?
A real-time remote control that would allow me to pause a moment and enjoy it completely. We're in such constant haste that we forget to value the good times while they last.

If you could move anywhere in the world for free, what place would that be?
I would never want to trade Dubai for any other place. This city amazes me with its pace, cultural values and its ability to constantly evolve.

The biggest learning point or experience in your life.
Stepping out of my parents' cocoon and moving to a different city for university. I was barely 18 then. What now seems like a happy course of teenage life - keeping up with grades, while studying in a foreign city, cooking, managing budgets etc - seemed like such a Herculean task back then. All of it was only further underscored when I started working, post university, at the age of 21. Today, I'm so thankful for all the lessons it brought my way, on both personal and professional fronts. Without a doubt, those eight years laid the foundation for my current attitude towards work and interpersonal relations. Most importantly, they taught me the importance of being financially self-sufficient too.

If you won a million bucks tomorrow, what would you do with the money?
I would invest a part of it for my future and the rest would go to philanthropic activities related to children.

What advice would you give your younger self, assuming you could?
To take it easy and try not to rush things - it seems like everything does fall into place with time.

If you could go back to any era in time or witness any major event in history, which one would it be, and why?
I am fascinated by artworks created during the art nouveau period. I would love to travel back in time to the early 1900s and be in Paris - perhaps as an apprentice in art nouveau jewellery designer René Lalique's workshop.

Your greatest fear.
Nothing comes to mind. I believe that if your faith is strong and if you have strong family support, you can pull through any situation.

If you could trade lives with one person for an entire day, who would it be and why?
René Lalique, when he was conceptualising the 'Dragonfly Woman Brooch'. I would love to understand what was going through his mind at the time and what inspired him to create that specific design.

Favourite movie character of all time - and why.
Erin Brockovich, for her perseverance and faith in self.

If you could have your pick of super-powers, what would you choose?
To be able to do without any sleep! I could totally use a few extra hours of 'me-time' right now!
