Dig deep and... detox

Orange & Carrot Detox
Prep time: 10 mins
Serves: 1
Ingredients
250 ml orange juice
3 carrots
Method
Wash the carrots well, and pat dry. Cut into 1-2 inch chunks.
Add them to a blender, together with the orange juice.
Blend until you achieve the desired consistency.
Pour into a serving glass, embellish with a slice of orange, and serve.

Super Green Detox
Prep time: 10 mins
Serves: 1
Ingredients
½ green apple
1 celery stick
1 cucumber
5 basil leaves
15 spinach leaves
250 ml green apple juice
Method
Wash all the vegetables and leaves well.
Cut the apple and celery into bite-sized chunks.
Add these, together with the leaves and juice, to a blender.
Process to desired texture or consistency. Serve.

ABC Detox
Prep time: 10 mins
Serves: 1
Ingredients
1 red apple
½ beetroot
1 carrot
250 ml orange juice
Method
Wash apple, beetroot and carrot well; pat dry.
Cut fruit and vegetables into 1-2 inch chunks.
Place all the ingredients into a juicer or blender.
Process into juice according to preferred texture and consistency. Serve.
Chef Ian Mancais says: "This drink is full of vitamin A, B1, B6, folate, fibre and potassium. Need we say more?"

Detox Mix
Prep time: 15 mins
Serves: 3
Ingredients
For the first blend:
½ green apple
1 celery stick
1 cucumber
5 basil leaves
15 spinach leaves
250 ml green apple juice
For the second blend:
250 ml orange juice
3 carrots
For the final blend:
1 red apple
½ beetroot
1 carrot
250 ml orange juice
Method
Blend the ingredients for each blend separately. Set aside.
Layer each blend on top of the other in a serving glass. Serve.
