Tryst with Dalí
It's a first for the region and a milestone for the Middle Eastern art scene. Under the orchestration of art and cultural development company Alpha Soul, works by Salvador Dalí, one of the most iconic figures in art history, will take centrestage at the Conference Hall, DIFC, from February 11 to April 22. The one-of-a-kind exhibition, titled 'Salvador Dalí. The Memories' will feature lithographs, photographs and original paintings created by Dalí in his timeless style - all sourced from private collections across the world. Don't miss it!
Reliving Roald Dahl
Delve into the magical mind of adored children's author Roald Dahl in this unique and interactive play, created by kids - and for kids. Whether you're with Augustus Gloop, Musical Matilda or the evil Trunchbull, 'Little Dahlings' promises to make you "churgle with laughter". There will be music, singing, dancing, cardboard boxes, silliness and much adventure. In other words, it's interactive fun for the whole family. Are you ready for the region's largest art festival dedicated to water colours? The International Watercolor Society in collaboration with the Cartoon Art Gallery will be hosting a four-day 'Watercolor Festival' from February 22-25 at the American University of Dubai, followed by a four-day painting tour from February 26 to March 1. More than 100 international artists are expected to visit Dubai, and over 300 artworks have been selected internationally for exhibition, together with the participation of 100 art teachers from the UAE.
