The National Centre of Meteorology (NCM) issued a warning to beachgoers to avoid going to the beach on Friday and the next two days due to a severely turbulent sea.

The NCMS also warned of rough sea in the Arabian Gulf as a result of relatively fresh winds up to 22 knots.
In a statement on Friday, NCM said that the wave height is expected to be between 4 to 6 feet until 8 am on Saturday. Residents are advised to be cautious while swimming in the various beaches in the region.
The NCM expects the weather across the country today will be fair in general and hazy at times.
Moderate winds in general, freshening at times during afternoon and may cause blowing dust over some exposed areas.

The relative humidity is likely to increase during night and early morning over some coastal and internal areas.
Maximum temperatures will surge to 48°C inland, with lows of 24°C expected in the mountains. Humidity levels could be as high as 90 per cent in the coastal areas.
Sea will be moderate to rough at times in the Arabian Gulf and moderate in Oman Sea.

Hazy, dusty days ahead
The weather may put a dampener on residents who plan on enjoying Eid with their families in the outdoors. Weather conditions during the Eid Al Fitr weekend are predicted to be hazy, partly cloudy, and dusty. The NCM has predicted fresh winds, causing dusts of dust and sand, especially during the daytime.
