Fog and mist caused poor visibility in some parts of the country in the early hours of Wednesday morning, according to the National Centre for Meteorology (NCM).
Patches of fog were recorded over Madinat Zayed in the Al Dhafra area and in Al Ruwais in Abu Dhabi.

Meanwhile, on Wednesday, the weather is expected to be fair to partly cloudy, with a probability of fog and mist formation over some northern areas. It will be also humid by night and Thursday morning.
The highest temperature today will hover between 26 to 29°C over the coastal areas and 27 to 30°C over the internal areas.

The winds are also expected to be light to moderate southeasterly to northeasterly, with a speed of 16-26, reaching 36kmph at times.
The sea will be slight to moderate in the Arabian Gulf and in the Oman sea, the NCM added.
Temperatures to increase gradually
Sharing a weather forecast for the coming days, the NCM said temperatures are likely to increase across the country, and humidity will remain high with a probability of mist formation.
Light to moderate winds, freshening at times, with a speed reaching up to 38kmph.  The sea will be slight to moderate in the Arabian Gulf and in the Oman Sea. In addition, rainfall is predicted on Sunday over the western areas extending eastwards during the daytime, along with a drop in temperature.
