UAE issues weather alert for Sunday evening

The UAE weather department on Sunday issued a weather alert for residents.

"Convective cloud formation may be may be associated with rainfall and fresh winds causing blowing sand, reducing the horizontal visibility to less than 2,000m at times," the National Centre of Meteorology (NCM) said in a tweet.

The alert is applicable on Sunday, September 29, from 5.40pm until 9pm.
