The Public Authority for Civil Aviation in Oman has issued an advisory as the tropical cyclone Luban continues moving in the west/northwest direction towards coastal areas of Dhofar governorate and Yemen with chances of further intensification to Category (2) within 48 hours.
The direct impact of the tropical cyclone is expected to affect Dhofar and Al Wusta governorates starting from Saturday afternoon 13 October, 2018.

Weather in UAE
The temperature in the UAE saw a further dip on Wednesday. The maximum temperature was recorded at 42.1°C in the country.
According to the National Center of Meteorology, NCM, the weather today will remain fair. Light to moderate wind will blow in general and may cause blowing of dust toward the eastern regions, NCM said.
The relative humidity will increase during the night and early morning over some coastal and western internal areas, and fog or mist may form.
The sea may become rough at times in the Arabian Gulf.
