Dubai - The mall issued a statement on Monday, apologising for the inconvenience.

As it poured down heavily on Tuesday in Dubai and other parts of UAE, a popular mall faced a power outage due to a 'technical glitch'.
The mall management issued a statement later, adding that power was back within a few minutes.

The statement said: "Earlier today, Mall of Emirates faced a temporary power outage due to a technical issue. Standard procedures were followed to ensure the safety of visitors and tenants. The matter was resolved immediately and business is as usual at the mall. We apologize for the inconvenience caused to both our tenants and visitors."
