The National Centre for Meteorology and Seismology has reminded residents that fog and mist formations are abound and poor visibility is to be expected today. Motorists are advised to drive with caution.
"According to satellite images, fog/mist has formed over some extreme western areas," forecasts NCMS.
The NCMS also notes that the relative humidity is likely to increase during night and early morning over internal and coastal areas.

The visibility is predicted to be less than 1000 metres at times over some internal areas of the UAE, especially the extreme west.
Overall, fair to partly cloudy weather is expected with chances of clouds over the eastern areas by afternoon.
The NCMS also predicts light to moderate winds.
