Heavy rains in Fujairah, RAK and Sharjah
Parts of Fujairah, Sharjah and Ras Al Khaimah received moderate to heavy rains late Monday afternoon. The National Centre of Meteorology and Seismology (NCMS) website reported rains and strong winds over Fujairah.
Heavy winds also kicked up dust and sand in Umm Al Quwain, Ajman, Ras Al Khaimah and other coastal areas.
However, temperatures remained at a maximum of 35 degree celsius and a minimum of 21 degree celsius in the coastal areas.
The centre has predicted partly cloudy and hazy weather for today. Day temperatures will fall with humidity likely to increase at night.
Chances of fog has also been predicted.
