On Saturday afternoon, the workers had a dispute with the company PRO over an increase in their salary from Dh650 to Dh1,000 per month. But, the PRO called the police who arrested six workers and disbursed the rest, a worker said.

The worker disclosed that officials from the Ministry of Labour have been negotiating with the company officials to look into the labourers' demands. The company has agreed to hike salary to Dh800 instead of Dh1,000, the workers said.
