Woman falls to death from Sharjah flat

Sharjah - The flat was rented to an Eritrean man identified as A.A.A.

A 32-year-old woman fell to death from the third floor of a building in Sharjah's Al Majaz area. The flat from which the Ethiopian woman fell was found locked from inside and did not have any furniture, the police said.

An employee of a grocery at the building notified the police about the fall. Police patrols and paramedics found the woman, identified as Samira Hailey, in a pool of blood. The woman, who was alive then, was rushed to the Kuwaiti Hospital, where she succumbed to her injuries after four hours. The body has been shifted to the forensic laboratory for an autopsy.
