Charity Initiatives at IHS, Dubai
Regularly partnering with Dubai Cares, Rashid Pediatric Centre and Al Noor Training Centre, here are some of the charitable initiatives The Indian High School has been a part of this year.

1. Cinema for a Cause - Students are shown an age appropriate movie in the school auditorium. They are asked to drop Dh5 minimum in the 'honest boxes'. The aim is to inculcate the quality of honesty even when no one is watching. It usually raises about Dh20,000 annually which helps educate girls in India.
2. Back to School - Students participated in the 'Back to school' initiative by KHDA. They contributed 1001 stationery boxes to the underprivileged children as part of Zayed Humanitarian Work Day programme.
3. Test4Good - Students and parents came together to raise Dh50,000 for Dubai Autism Centre.
4. Fortnight Delite - This is where our Home Science, Accounts, Marketing, Fine Arts and Environment Club members work together. Delicious and nutritious recipes are whipped up. The money collected is deposited in the chairman's relief fund.
5. Charity Bazaar - This is organised by students where a particular section puts up food stalls, games stalls, sale of trinkets, used books, plants and even dance and music performances. The money collected is donated to the Chairman's Relief Fund.
