You might want to think twice if you have plans to step out this weekend. The weather continues to be unstable with dust storm forecast and the soaring mercury, couple with scattered rain.
After blowing dust storm hit several areas of the UAE on Thursday, the National Centre of Meteorology and Seismology (NCMS) shared a notification about fresh winds blowing dust over most areas of the country today.
The blowing dust could cause poor visibility of less than 2800 metres on the roads. Motorists are advised to practice caution.

The UAE will be hot to very hot in general, partly cloudy and hazy at times, with a chance of convective clouds over some eastern and southern areas by afternoon, associated with some scattered rainfall.
The weather will be the same for the next 48 hours so plan your weekend accordingly.
Winds will be light to moderate in general, freshening at times over some areas, causing blowing dust and sand over some exposed areas. Relative humidity will increase during the night and early morning over some coastal and internal areas, with a chance of fog or mist formation, especially over the western areas.
The temperature currently is 40 degree Celsius and could hover around 49-50 degrees during the day.
