UAE weather: Chances of rainfall; temperatures to dip to 20ºC

Humidity levels will range from 30 to 75 per cent in Abu Dhabi and from 35 to 80 per cent in Dubai

The National Centre of Meteorology (NCM) has said that the weather on Thursday will be partly cloudy to occasionally cloudy, with continued chances of rainfall in scattered areas.

It will be humid at night and on Friday morning in some western regions, with light to moderate winds that may become active at times, moving from northwesterly to northeasterly, at speeds ranging from 10 to 25, reaching up to 40 kmph.

Temperatures could be as high as 34ºC in the country. Mercury is set to rise to 29ºC in Abu Dhabi and 28ºC in Dubai. However, temperatures could be as low as 20ºC in Abu Dhabi and 21ºC in Dubai and 20ºC in mountainous regions.

In a statement, the Centre noted that the sea in the Arabian Gulf will be moderate to slight, with the first high tide at 6.29am and the first low tide at 10.14am. In the Oman Sea, the waves will be moderate to slight, with the first high tide at 6.48pm and the first low tide at 10.05am.
