UAE weather: Red, yellow alerts issued for fog; light rainfall likely
Abu Dhabi Police have advised motorist to exercise caution due to rainy weather and to follow reduced speed limits

Red and yellow alerts for fog were issued by the UAE's National Centre of Meteorology (NCM) on Monday, as residents gear up for the beginning of the working week.
The NCM weather bulletin has also predicted light rainfall, especially over the west and islands, and a significant decrease in temperatures.

Overall, skies will be partly cloudy to cloudy. Conditions may become occasionally dusty during daytime.

Abu Dhabi Police have taken to X to advise motorist to exercise caution due to rainy weather and to follow reduced speed limits displayed on electronic information boards. It has also activated speed reduction systems on some roads due to fog.
The NCM has expected light to moderate Northwesterly winds, becoming fresh to strong at times over the sea, causing blowing of dust and sand during daytime over land. The wind is likely to be 15kmph– 30kmph, reaching 50kmph.
Dubai's maximum and temperatures are expected to be between 33°C and 22°C, respectively. Likewise, in Abu Dhabi, the maximum and minimum temperatures are likely to be 32°C and 22°C.
Meanwhile, sea conditions will be rough to very rough in the Arabian Gulf and slight to moderate becoming rough gradually by night in Oman Sea.
