UAE weather: Dusty conditions expected; fair to partly cloudy day ahead

Residents across the UAE can expect a largely fair day with skies turning partly cloudy at times on Friday (April 4), according to the weather bulletin issued by the National Centre of Meteorology (NCM).

Both Abu Dhabi and Dubai will have a mostly sunny day with the capital hitting up to 41ºC and 25ºC, respectively.

Dubai, meanwhile, will see a high of 39ºC and a low of 26ºC.

Meanwhile, thick fog blanketed some parts of the UAE's eastern coast ion early morning. A video captured by the Storm Centre shows a dense fog enveloping a large area of Khorfakkan, significantly reducing visibility on the roads.

The forecast further predicts blowing of light to moderate Southeasterly to Northeasterly winds, with a speed of 10kmph to 20kmph, which may pick up and reach up to 30 kmph.

The weather department also noted that conditions can get dusty at times during daytime.

The sea will be slight in the Arabian Gulf and in Oman Sea.
