Rain of varying intensity will continue across the UAE this week, with fresh showers expected to develop again from Thursday night into Friday, according to the National Centre of Meteorology (NCM).

The UAE has been experiencing unstable weather conditions in recent days, bringing intermittent rainfall, thunderstorms and reduced visibility in parts of Abu Dhabi and Dubai.

Tuesday to Wednesday: Scattered showers across UAE

On Tuesday, residents can expect intermittent rain in scattered areas during the day, with showers shifting towards western and southern regions by night.

Rainfall will continue into Wednesday, with intermittent showers expected from daytime through evening across the country. Conditions are likely to gradually improve overnight, with the chance of rain decreasing.

Thursday night: New wave of rain begins

Cloud activity will remain relatively light during the daytime on Thursday, particularly over the northern and eastern regions.

However, a new wave of rain is expected to begin at night over western areas, especially Al Dhafra, before gradually spreading across coastal, northern and eastern regions, including Al Ain, and continuing into Friday morning.

Friday: Continued rainfall across multiple regions

Rain will persist into Friday morning across the northern and eastern parts of the country, including Al Ain.

By afternoon and night, showers are expected to affect northern, eastern and coastal areas, as well as Al Ain, with varying intensity.

This comes as authorities continue to urge caution amid unstable weather, which has already caused disruptions and poor visibility on roads in recent days.

Residents are advised to stay updated with official forecasts as conditions evolve.
