The municipality's readiness comes as part of comprehensive operational plans and strategies designed to ensure public safety during these weather conditions.

The authority has mobilised specialised work teams equipped with advanced machinery and a diverse fleet of vehicles to carry out field tasks with high capability and efficiency.

Heavy rains, thunderstorms and strong winds are expected on Thursday, December 18, 2025, with turbulent weather continuing into Friday. The conditions are part of a low-pressure system that has brought significant rainfall across the region over the past week.
