UAE weather: Chance of rain; lowest temperature at 18°C in Abu Dhabi, Sharjah

UAE residents are in for a pleasant climate over the National Day weekend. The weather on Saturday, November 29 is expected to be partly cloudy to cloudy at times over some coastal, northern and eastern areas, with a chance of rainfall.

The met department predicted that it will be humid by Saturday night and Sunday morning over some internal areas with a probability of mist formation.

Expect light to moderate Southeasterly winds, becoming Northwesterly and freshening at times, with clouds causing blowing dust, are expected at a speed of 10-25kmph, reaching 40kmph.

The sea will be slight to moderate in the Arabian Gulf and slight in Oman Sea.

The highest temperature in Dubai and Abu Dhabi will be 29°C, while that in Sharjah will be 30°C. Lowest temperatures in Abu Dhabi and Sharjah will be 18°C, while in Dubai, it will be 21°C.

The highest temperature recorded over the country today was 30.8°C in Tawiyen (Fujairah) at 14:15 UAE Local time.

The National Center of Meteorology earlier said that the weather in the country during the National Day period from Saturday, until December 3 to be moderately warm during the day and pleasant at night, and cool in the early morning, with partly cloudy cover over most areas of the country, and an increase in cloud amounts at times, especially over the northern, coastal and island regions, with the possibility of scattered rain at intervals.
