UAE weather: Rains likely; temperatures to dip to 14ºC in some areas

UAE residents can expect some rainfall today, according to the National Centre of Meteorology (NCM).

Conditions are expected to be partly cloudy to cloudy at times with a chance of rainfall over some western, coastal areas and islands, according to the weather department.

Light-to-moderate southeasterly-to-northwesterly winds are expected to blow across the country. Gusts will be freshening at times, with a speed of 10-25 km/h, reaching up to 35 km/h.

Temperatures in Abu Dhabi and Dubai will reach a high of 27ºC and 29ºC, respectively. The emirates will see lows of 22ºC and 23ºC, respectively.

The sea will be slight to moderate in the Arabian Gulf and slight in the Oman Sea.
