UAE weather: Rains to hit some areas; fair to partly cloudy skies likely
Cloud formation and rainfall expected in over some Eastern and Northern areas today, bringing respite from the heat

Apart from celebrating the blessed occasion of Eid Al Adha, residents in some parts of the UAE enjoyed a bit of rain on Friday, June 6. And there is more good news in store as residents continue the celebrations into the long weekend.
There could be more respite from the rising heat, with the met department predicting more rain in some parts of the country on Saturday, June 7.

A yellow alert was issued in some areas for June 7 by the National Centre of Meteorology (NCM) on Saturday for a chance of cloud formation associated with rainfall and fresh winds.
The alert, active from 8am to 8pm, warned of winds causing blowing dust and sand, with a speed of 40 km/hr over some Eastern and Northern areas.
Conditions will get humid by night and Sunday morning over some coastal and internal areas with a probability of fog or mist formation.

NCM added that there will be light to moderate southeasterly to northeasterly winds, freshening at times with a speed of 10kmph and 25kmph, reaching 40kmph.
The sea conditions will be slight in the Arabian Gulf and slight to moderate in Oman Sea.
The minimum temperature in the internal areas will be 21°C and expected to rise up to 44°C. Temperatures in Abu Dhabi are likely to see a high of 36°C and a low of 27°C, while in Dubai, it will be 37°C with a low of 27°C.
Sharjah will witness a high of 39°C and a low of 26°C.
