UAE weather: Temperatures to hit 46ºC; humid conditions expected

As summer peaks across the UAE, temperatures in parts of the country, particularly in Al Ain, are expected to hit 46ºC on Monday, July 7, according to the National Centre of Meteorology (NCM). Meanwhile, Abu Dhabi and Dubai will see highs of up to 38ºC.

The weather department noted that residents should also brace for humid conditions on Monday night, extending into Tuesday morning, especially over some coastal areas.

Overall, the weather will remain fair to partly cloudy. Winds will be light to moderate, blowing from the northwest to southwest at speeds of 10–25 kmph, occasionally picking up and reaching up to 40 kmph.

Sea conditions will be rough at times, gradually becoming moderate to slight in the Arabian Gulf and slight in the Oman Sea.
