A yellow alert has been issued by the National Centre of Meteorology (NCM) on Friday, July 4, for rough sea and fresh winds reaching up to 40kmph, blowing in a northwesterly direction. The met department earlier noted these winds will cause blowing dust across the country.
The weather department noted that the sea will be rough with waves reaching 7ft at times in the Arabian Gulf and will last till 7am on Saturday, July 5.
The weather department noted that it will be partly cloudy to cloudy at times on Friday, noting cloudy conditions, especially eastward and northward.

It will get humid by night and Saturday morning over some northern areas.
The weather department earlier said that sea conditions will be moderate to rough, especially westward, in the Arabian Gulf and slight to moderate in Oman Sea.
