UAE weather: Chance of rain; humid conditions by night

Looks like the rain streak is still ongoing, with showers expected on Monday, July 21, according to the National Centre of Meteorology (NCM).

The NCM predicted a probability of some convective clouds formation eastward and southward, which may be associated with rainfall.

The weather otherwise is expected to be fair to partly cloudy across the country. Conditions are likely to get humid by night and Tuesday morning over some coastal and internal areas with a probability of mist formation.

Light to moderate southeasterly becoming northwesterly winds are set to blow, freshening at times during daytime, causing blowing dust, with a speed of 10-25 km/hr reaching 40 m/hr.

The sea will be slight in the Arabian Gulf and slight to moderate in Oman Sea.

Temperatures are expected to drop to a low of 30°C in parts of Abu Dhabi and reach a high of 48°C in the Capital. Meanwhile Dubai will see a high of 40°C and a low of 33°C. Sharjah, on the other hand, will witness a high of 42°C and a low of 32°C.

The highest temperature recorded over the country on Sunday was 48.6°C in Al Ain's Um Azimul at 3pm, as per the NCM.
