Sweltering 49.2°C temperature recorded in Al Dhafra on Monday afternoon
As summer heat continues to intensify across the UAE, with a sweltering 49.2°C recorded yesterday in Owtaid, Al Dhafra Region, let's take a look at the weather forecast for Tuesday.
The UAE's National Center of Meteorology reports that the country will experience the effects of a weak surface pressure system, coupled with an extension of an upper air high-pressure system. This combination is expected to result in fair to partly cloudy conditions across most regions, with low clouds appearing particularly along the east coast.
Humidity levels will rise overnight and into Wednesday morning, increasing the likelihood of fog or mist forming over some coastal and inland areas. Motorists are advised to take extra caution during early morning hours due to reduced visibility in affected zones.
