UAE weather: Chance of rain in some areas; partly cloudy skies likely

UAE residents can look forward to a rainy Sunday (January 25), according to National Centre of Meteorology (NCM).

The weather department noted that the sky will be partly cloudy to cloudy over some coastal, northern, and eastern areas, with a chance of rainfall.

A yellow alert for wind and rough sea in some parts of the country, active till 6pm on Sunday.

Temperatures will remain generally comfortable, not exceeding 27ºC across the country, with Abu Dhabi dropping to 15ºC and Dubai to 17ºC.

Winds will be light to moderate from the southeast, shifting northwest and freshening at times, causing blowing dust at speeds of 10 to 30kmph, reaching up to 40kmph.
