UAE weather: Chance of rain over coastal areas; temperatures to increase

UAE residents may experience light rainfall on Monday, January 19, 2026, according to the National Centre of Meteorology (NCM).

Skies will be partly cloudy to cloudy over some coastal and northern areas. Light to moderate winds will blow in the southeasterly to northeasterly directions, at speeds of 10 to 25 km/h, reaching 35 km/h at times.

Temperatures will gradually increase, according to the Met Department, which has said that Dubai and Sharjah will reach a high of 24ºC and that Abu Dhabi will be 25ºC.

The capital will see a low of 15ºC, while Dubai and Sharjah will experience minimum temperatures of 16ºC and 13ºC, respectively.

The weather will be humid by night and Tuesday morning over some coastal areas.

The sea will be slight, becoming moderate in the Arabian Gulf and slight in the Oman Sea.
